Divelbiss announced the launch of the second-generation P10 PLC on-chip embedded, single-chip, programmable logic controller. The second one has similar functions and performance to the larger P13 PLC on the chip, but is packaged in LQFP144.
The on-chip PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) has two CAN ports, J1939 and NMEA 2000. In addition, the product also has Ethernet and serial communications, Wi-Fi and cellular, Modbus, Coap and MQTT. It also supports enhanced counter/timer functions, up to 106 digital I/O, up to 8 12-bit analog inputs and 1 10-bit analog output, integrated real-time clock, SD card interface, I2C port, SPI port, The quadrature counter, keyboard and display interface expand the user memory on the chip and speed up the scan time.
The company explained that the unit can be added to embedded applications without low-level programming. After being integrated into the product, the company's EZ Ladder Toolkit can be used to input and monitor user applications. The functions supported by this programming tool include: ladder diagram, function block and structured text.
The product has a temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C and can be embedded in electro-hydraulic and mobile equipment, motor drives, HMI (human machine interface), packaging equipment, telematics, remote field applications and various other applications .
