Home loan provider Delta Brac Housing Finance Corporation Limited recently changed its name to DBH Finance PLC, said a press release.
Shareholders approved the proposal of changing the company’s name to DBH Finance PLC in a special meeting held in April.
The Bangladesh Bank recently approved the matter by issuing a circular.
The company’s managing director and chief executive officer Nasimul Baten said that due to DBH’s brand equity, the new name will make the company’s identity more precise to its customers and it will be more in line with the company’s future plans.
According to the release, the company currently has branches in Dhaka, Chattogram, Cumilla, Sylhet, Gazipur, Narayanganj, Khulna and Rajshahi. So far, it has disbursed more than Tk 13,500 crore in loans to more than 52.000 families, the release added. — New Age
