Red Lion introduced the next-generation panel meter PM-50. This graphical panel meter PM-50 extends Red Lion’s existing award-winning panel meter product portfolio. PM-50 can be used as a 3.5-inch or 4.3-inch graphical touch screen display. Using simple "slide" technology, users can easily switch between relevant screens and receive comprehensive operating data for monitoring equipment and production. The visual alert informs the user that immediate action is required, either on the device itself or through the PM-50 app, available on Google Play or Apple Store.

PM-50 provides users with a built-in Wi-Fi connection to remotely access key workflows and processing data from within the factory floor to create a smarter factory floor. Wired connection is also an option via Ethernet and Modbus.

Rod Smith, senior director of product management at Red Lion, said: “Today’s manufacturing environment is changing rapidly, and the need for data visibility, connectivity, and collection is increasing. Therefore, when developing this next-generation panel meter, Red Lion’s The team challenges themselves to create a product that helps solve these challenges and allows manufacturers to take additional measures to create smarter factory floors. With its innovative graphic display, PM-50 can achieve more efficient processes and extend normalcy Run time and reduce operating costs."

PM-50 is easy to install, program and expand. PM-50 can use 1/8 or 1/16 DIN panel cutout instead of meter. The programming wizard, mobile application or web browser on the device provides simple and intuitive settings. Field-installable modules have additional functions that can provide output, communication and AC power functions when needed.
